Humanoid Rabbit, Natural fur color is white, however, he likes to dye it green, leaving most of his front white in honor of one of his favorite cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny. Except he's green whereas Bugs Bunny was gray. He has a slender build akin to a swimmer with a barely noticeable muscle tone. He tends to prefer agility over strength. He tends to keep himself well-kept and trimmed if at all possible.
He likes building things with his hands. He prefers living a naturist lifestyle where allowed, or when in private. As such, due to his eccentric nature, should anyone intentionally invade his privacy without consent, he will often refuse to don any form of attire in retaliation for said sudden and unexpected intrusion.
In terms of personal self-defense, Asalis only has his acquired knowledge of Taekwando to fall back on. He has not developed the skill very much over the years as he often prefers to avoid conflict wherever possible. Despite what the picture shows, his feet are plantigrade.
History
Born in a world where magic is prevalent but technology still became the dominant force. His world developed differently than most in the multiverse. His father had his DNA spliced with the appearance of a hare thus giving him an anthropomorphic form. In this world it's treated as the next best thing to Tatoos and is relatively just as safe. Years later after meeting and getting married he has twins. One male (Asalis) and one female named Jessica. Both were born with the appearance of a humanoid rabbit due to their father's rebellious phase from altering his own DNA. Ten years later his youngest daughter named Esmeralda would be born yet unlike her older siblings she was born as a bunny instead of a hare.
For the sake of this character sheet we will stick with Asalis from this point forward.
Due to being born to a parent with altered DNA, the offspring each developed a mutation in the form of a heightened capability otherwise interpreted as a superpower. Asalis developed a power he has named hyper mind. This allows him to speed up his mind to the point that he perceives everything as going very slowly. In this state, he is able to think fast enough to come up with a solution to most problems presented to him. This however unbeknownst to him is only a precursor to his actual power which is super speed. (he doesn't know he's a speedster yet and will not be utilizing that ability until much later depending on how RP's go. I fully intend to RP him developing and learning how to utilize this "new" power of his and it will not be a quick process. for example, after learning he's a speedster he could test it out get up to 50 MPH and trip over the rock. laws of conservation applied he smashes the rock outcropping to rubble, but also breaks his shin bones in half, tumbling to a halt some considerable feet away from the impact site. That's just an example of what could happen and how I intend to play that. If we apply DC logic into this given how the magic of his world works. He basically learns how to tap into the equivalent of the Speed Force.)
Asalis' life for the most part was pretty normal, average middle-class America in the early 2000s era. All that changed however when shortly after graduating from high school. He was helping his twin sister prepare lunch when their youngest sister called them into the living room about their archeologist father. On it, Asalis saw the museum where their father was unveiling a new discovery but the headline read "Hostage Situation at the FortStar Museum of Science and History." All three were glued to the television watching with bated breath as the news developed. Things were tense for the longest time until the worst possible thing could happen. A meta (offspring of people with altered DNA who developed superpowers) vigilante took matters into his own hands without the cop's knowledge and the assailants took this as a sign that the authorities weren't going to play ball and started killing hostages on the spot while keeping the vigilante at bay. By the time the cops got involve all but two of the hostages were killed. Asalis' parents were not among the living.
Devestated the siblings each took the death of their parents differently. Asalis shut himself in his lab, only coming out for food and hygiene purposes. Then one day he burst out of his lab in his birthday suit screaming "I've done it!" and quickly called up some of his father's old Military contacts for a demonstration of something he had finished inventing. At the demonstration he put out two watermelons, one was wearing Asalis' invention like a vest, and the other was just an ordinary bare watermelon. The vest was wirelessly connected to a readout he had strapped to his wrist whereupon he activated the device. He then instructed one of the soldiers to fire a short burst into each watermelon, starting with the one without the device. It splattered in one short burst. The one wearing the device however was completely intact. So the soldier emptied two more bursts before Asalis instructed him to stop. What he had created was the world's first personal shield and thus he earned his first contract and grant so he could buy a factory and begin mass-producing his invention. From there he went on to found the technology empire known as J-Tech Industries.
From there Asalis went on to become one of the leading technology companies with an emphasis on Defense and protection. His life goal was to develop technology to ensure that those with dangerous occupations such as those in the military, law enforcement, or other dangerous professions would have a much higher chance of coming home to their families alive.
After several years Asalis has become a billionaire with a lot of technology and clout to show for it. As such he has developed quite an eccentric personality but he refuses to let go of his moral obligations to protect the people in his fair city in any way he can, without resorting to vigilantism. He in fact hates vigilante's the most since it was a vigilante that was indirectly responsible for his parent's death. Thus he began developing technology with the explicit intention of apprehending those with meta-human capabilities. When not developing said tech. However, he will often retreat to his R&D department to develop more wild and crazy tech ideas, essentially throwing science at the wall to see what sticks. Thus earning him the reputation as the mad scientist with a heart of gold. This holds especially true on the day he disappeared.
One day Asalis had an extraordinary encounter with an exact duplicate of himself. This duplicate explained that he came from an alternate reality and was fully capable of traversing what he referred to as the Multi-verse. Thus our Asalis mind was enamored at the idea and when his duplicate departed, our Asalis got it in his head to create a trans-dimensional gateway of his very own. Things however didn't go as planned. As soon as he powered it up the machine started blaring warning after warning as an "Unknown extreme energy event" was occurring. All attempts to shut the gateway down had failed. Asalis ordered an immediate evacuation of the facility as he worked at trying to contain whatever was causing his gateway to malfunction. The last thing the cameras recorded was a blinding yellow light exploding out from the gateway and the entire room being torn asunder before suddenly imploding towards the portal. The very walls of the lab seemed to be sucked into the device which also tore itself apart and was subsequently swallowed by the blinding Yellow light. Then as quickly as it had appeared the light disappeared and there was no sign of Asalis, the dimensional gateway, or half of the fairly large lab room that gateway had formerly occupied. Asalis' remains were never recovered, but he was also subsequently pronounced deceased as anything near the portal has seemingly been vaporized and Asalis had been standing right next to it. It is still unknown exactly what happened, as up until the moment the unknown event occurred the gateway had reportedly been operating as intended.
Homeworld
It is a high technology world similar to what is seen in the Marvel cinematic universe but with magic taken into consideration and developed as a form of science on its own. The magic called Ether or Mana depending on the intended function and/or use tends to work similarly to alchemical sciences but mana is a form of energy that has both physical and immaterial properties depending on intended purpose and/or use. It's regarded as the fifth state of matter and can change substances into the other four states depending on the material and molecular makeup, ie. Liquid, solid, gas, plasma, or back to mana, which can exhibit the properties of all the other states of matter at once, again depending on the intended use and/or purpose. (hard magic rules for the win! :P ) In short, you can only create what you put into it. To obtain what you want, an equivalent mass and/or energy is required to achieve the intended result. If you want to create something big and complex, it's going to require a lot of heavy resources to achieve/obtain. Ultimately Mana/ether in this world is regarded as an energy source. One that is latent in the very atmosphere of the planet, but also unseen much like the very air you breath.
That said Mana is not the end-all-be-all of this world. Major events like World War 1 and 2 still happened, the events in said wars however differ greatly. Yet the outcome of said wars still remains the same. As such technology has had a chance to not only develop but surpass much of what mana in the dark ages was capable of achieving. but since magic in this world was not forgotten it managed to not only develop alongside technology, scientists eventually found a way to combine the two thus creating the very unscientifically named "Magi-tech. or Magic-based technology. Thus in many ways, the world has tech that is equal to our own, but a lot more technology that would could potentially do irreparable damage to ours if it ever appeared here.
No they don't have flying cars. Yet.

seed up his mind to that of the level of a supercomputer, or faster depending on the supercomputer, it is compared to. When he is in this mindset, it grants him the ability to analyze a given situation and strategize as necessary. Also while in this state he gains a temporary boost to reaction time so long as he maintains this state of mind.

It requires partial concentration to maintain this mindset as he used this skill quite often in the past. However, should his concentration be broken then his mind is instantly snapped back into its regular state and speed. he will be unable to put himself back into that hyper state for a short time after, or is able to find a safe and secluded space to reinguage said power.
Super speed (Will not have at the start, to be developed in several RP's over a course of time at the GM's discretion)
his hyper mind will eventually work as a gateway to his actual ability, super speed. This as the name suggests allows him to move at superhuman speeds across great distances. When first developing this power however he will only start out being able to go at slightly above-average running speed. As he develops the skill he will eventually be able to go much faster. (he isn't the flash so no throwing friction-based lighting. Let's keep this real.)
He will eventually be able to run at speeds up to terminal velocity (120mph).
Running at such speeds he is vulnerable to the laws of conservation. Say he is running and he slams his shin into a small rock outcropping that barely comes up halfway to his shin. If he's going at 50 to 70 MPH, the laws of conservation will state that the rock outcropping will likely be reduced to rubble, BUT his shin will also likely be broken in two, if not shattered upon impact, thus sending him into a long uncontrolled tumble across the ground before eventually coming to a very painful stop.
